It cant be both, can you explain what this means, please?

The hip pockets are stitched up. I’ve checked and the pocket area is double denim so I know it’s a true pocket.
Question is, should the stitching be unpicked like you would in a blazer pocket to get into the pocket?

And I LOVE the sizing on this it MASSIVE :) looks sooooo cool x
