Travel in Style

Post-pandemic travel has become more accessible and frequent again, so it's important to consider what to wear for maximum comfort and style.

Gone are the days of restrictive clothing and uncomfortable shoes - it's time to embrace comfortable travel attire whilst still looking appropriate, polished and stylish.

Here are some tips from me for achieving the perfect balance of comfort and style whilst travelling.

LET ME SHOW YOU HOW TO DO THIS THE LAUNDRY B WAY!

Firstly take a look at our Riley Collection. Made from a buttery soft slub cotton jersey.

The Riley Collection is a five-piece capsule collection with an emphasis on mix and match and loose fluid breathable layering.

Here are five tips that should help you get to your destination stylishly and smoothly.

  1. Choose breathable fabrics when travelling, it's important to wear fabrics that are breathable and won't cling to your skin.

Opt for lightweight materials like cotton, linen, viscose or rayon, which will allow your skin to breathe and keep you cool in warmer climates.

  2. Layer up.  Airports and aeroplanes can be unpredictable when it comes to temperature, so layering is a great solution.

Pieces from our Riley Collection are perfect for this. The Riley Chill Cotton Blazer layered over The Riley Chill Cotton Jumpsuit will be your journey saver.

Keep it simple. Minimalism is key when it comes to travel attire.

Choose simple pieces that can be mixed and matched, like the comfortable Jo Jo Quirky Cocoon Pant can be paired with the Blazer and a basic layering vest.

  3. Don't forget the footwear. Comfortable shoes are a must when travelling. Opt for footwear that is easy to slip on and off at security checkpoints.

  4. Accessorise strategically while travelling, it's important to keep your accessories simple and functional. Again check out our jewellery selection.

Our stretch bracelets are super easy to take on and off as required.

A spacious tote will allow you to carry all of your essentials, whilst our Portobello scarf will be your most practical travel companion.

It can also be used as a stylish accessory and a makeshift shrug on the plane.

With these tips in mind, you'll be able to travel in comfort and style.

Remember, the key to comfortable travel attire is choosing simple, breathable fabrics, layering strategically, and accessorising thoughtfully. Bon voyage!
